An overview of ethical rules and laws surrounding fee arrangements between attorneys and their clients. A discussion of how the disciplinary rules address the division of fees among attorneys, a lawyer's right to a security interest, and how to resolve fee disputes with a client. The Texas State Bar course number is 174309322. It qualifies for 1.25 CLE Credit and 1.25 Ethics Credit. The course will be approved for 05/15/26 through 03/14/27.
