An overview of ethical rules and laws surrounding fee arrangements between attorneys and their clients.  A discussion of how the disciplinary rules address the division of fees among attorneys, a lawyer's right to a security interest and how to resolve fee disputes with a client. 

 

The course qualifies for 1.25 hours of CLE and Ethics credit for the State Bar of Texas.
